Use the control scripts provided in the $SPITFIRE_HOME/bin folder:
The logs files will be written in $SPITFIRE_HOME/logs/datalayer-spitfire.log file.
You can change the settings (log file location, log level) with $SPITFIRE_HOME/conf/log4j2.xml.
